Chambéry is a French city, historical capital of the Savoy (Savoie) region. The city's main sight is the Chateau de Chambéry, which is home to those responsible for the politican administration of the region.

How to get to Chambéry from
Route 1:

The route used to be operated by Artesia trains, but in place of this service are traditional TGV services. An alternative overnight service between Paris and Milan is available, continuing to Venice (and detailed elsewhere on this website).
