Nagykanizsa (also known as Kanizsa) is a city situated in the south-west corner of Hungary. The town has played a historic role as a junction of goods routes from Slovenia and the Adriatic.

How to get to Nagykanizsa from
Route 1:

One of the most spectacular rail journeys in Europe is between Zagreb and Vienna (Wien). The route passes through the Austrian Alps, with passengers treated to spectacular mountain views. Besides the scenery, it is also one of the quickest and cheapest routes between Austria and Croatia.

A bar service is available on the route, in both directions. Both first and second class tickets are available.
